The contents and medium of your surprise kit will vary month to month. That’s what makes it a surprise!

How often will I receive an art kit?

A new Monthly Surprise Kit ships to the address on file once per month. Check out our Subscription Kits page to see if we’re offering any other subscription packages.

Can I cancel? How would I do that?

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Just log into your account on our site, and end your subscription. Your form of payment on file will no longer be charged monthly.

Depending on processing, you may receive one final art kit before your subscription is terminated. Consider it the cherry on top!

Are these kits safe for toddlers?

All Tangerine art kits are recommended for ages 3+. Some kits contain small pieces, which could create a choking hazard. Adult supervision is always recommended.

Will it be hard to make? And how messy is it?

Each of our art kits has a unique challenge level, completion time, and messiness rating. We recommend always dressing for a mess — and giving yourself all the time in the world to explore your creative gifts!

Next month’s kit could be easier or messier than the kit before. That’s the most fun part!

What else do I need to know?

Some of our products call for water, an oven, or another unique need. There’s nothing special you need to provide — if it isn’t included in your kit, it will always be something you have lying around the house, or a standard household item. Oh, and don’t worry — each monthly kit comes with specific instructions, so you'll have everything you need to know on a handy-dandy card by your side.

Shipping Details

We aim to ship orders out within 1-2 business days, but as a small business it may take longer during our busy times. You’ll get an email with the tracking number as soon as your order is processed and shipped, and from there it typically takes 2-5 business days for your order to arrive.

How much is shipping?

Shipping costs are based on location and the type of kit that you purchase, so they can vary. You can estimate your shipping rate in the checkout process without having to make a purchase.

At the moment, unfortunately we can’t offer delivery overseas from the US. 

Return Policy

If you would like to return an order, please contact us at us at hello@tangerineartkits.com and we will talk you through the process. It’s simple and easy!

Please Do NOT send any kits back to the registered address without contacting us or we will be unable to process your return. We want to make sure you get your money back! Please inspect your order when you receive it and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. My kit is damaged, missing items, or didn’t show up. What should I do?
We strive to get your order right every time but sometimes we make mistakes. If your order contains damaged items, missing items, or the order didn’t show up, we’re here to help! Please contact us at hello@tangerineartkits.com with your order number and a picture of the damaged item (if applicable).
